Planting Trees For Our Future

In partnership with local schools, colleges and universities.

We have estimated each year we release approximately 10 tons of CO2e, in the atmosphere, per instructor. Smartlearner currently has 40 instructors. This means each year we emit around 400 tons of CO2e into our atmosphere! In order to combat this and offset our carbon emissions, Smartlearner will plant 10 trees per instructor. This is as a tree absorbs 1 tonne of CO2e per lifetime.

In 2021, SmartLearner will plant 400 trees across the West Midlands and Warwickshire with the help of local schools, colleges, and universities. If you have a place or location where you think planting a tree would be beneficial, or simply just want to plant a tree as an activity for your school, contact us!

In hand with planting trees, we additionally want to hosts talks in educating people on eco-friendly methods of travel to decrease our community’s carbon ouput, whether it is walking, biking or other alternative emissions free modes of transport in aspirations of influencing the youth on positive environmentally sound decisions for the present, for the future.
